Dr. Vimal H. Prajapati, MD, FRCPC, FAAD, completed his dermatology residency at the University of Alberta, earning board-certification in Canada and the United States. He then pursued an additional 1-year fellowship in pediatric dermatology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Prajapati has received 20 major awards at the university, provincial, and national level; authored 1 textbook chapter; published 30 peer-reviewed manuscripts in print or electronic format; and presented at several scientific meetings. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary and co-director of the province’s only multidisciplinary clinic for children with juvenile localized scleroderma.
