Dr. Wei Jing Loo is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Ontario. She completed medical school with an honours degree from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia in 1997. She trained in Internal Medicine and obtained her Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom in 1999. She completed her Dermatology residency training in Cambridge, United Kingdom and obtained her Certificate of Specialist Training in Dermatology in 2005. She is also board certified in Canada and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She is a member of the Canadian Dermatology Association, British Association of Dermatologists and British Society of Dermatological Surgery.  She enjoys teaching and has presented at national and international meetings and published her work in many peer-reviewed journals.


Dr Wei Jing Loo is also the Owner and Medical Director of DermEffects, a newly established dermatology centre located at the elegantly restored former United Church on Hyde Park Road. Dr. Wei Jing Loo had the vision of restoring the church to her former glory in an effort to provide a full-service skin clinic with facilities for both clinical and cosmetic dermatology.
