Probity Medical Research Expands Clinical Trial Operations to Australia

Probity Medical Research Inc. (PMR) a leading provider of clinical research support services has expanded clinical research activity by launching operations in Australia.  The move supports the continued development of PMR's dermatology clinical trial group by adding five dermatology sites across Australia. Each facility in Australia has over 10 years of experience in clinical trials for indications such as psoriasis, skin cancer, atopic dermatitis (eczema), acne and other dermatological conditions.

This new partnership expands upon PMR's current operations in Canada and the US. The first clinical trial that has begun at the Australian facilities is for the inflammatory skin disease, Psoriasis.

More information on the Psoriasis clinical trial can be found here:

About Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a non-contagious, inflammatory skin disease that causes red, dry, scaly patches (called lesions) on the skin.  These lesions can make the skin itch, burn, flake, or bleed. The most common form, plaque psoriasis, involves patches of raised, red skin covered with a silvery, white, flaky scale. Between 2 to 3 percent of the worldwide population has Psoriasis.
